Hey! I’m Michael, how are you?

Happy face

I’m an 18 year-old student studying Economics at university. Yes, that is full time education! I live in England where the weather tends to sway from wet, to wet, to cold and wet. It. Is. Great.

Anyway, over the last 2 years I have looked to the internet as device to not just have fun on. I began to look at it as a platform which had, strange though it seems, not been designed for the sole purpose of talking to mates and playing online games. It was so much more…

This new interest came about when I was browsing eBay for one of those sort after iPod Videos. Wow, an iPod with video, how amazing it was back then. After searching for a while I soon came across a rather strange listing. It was one which offered a free iPod. A free iPod I said to myself? My mates laughed and told me there was no such thing as a free lunch. How wrong they were…

This advert is what pushed me into the world of online marketing. These free iPod schemes do in fact work. They rely on affiliate marketing. Where the advertisers pay for your gift. You simply have to sign up for one of the sponsor offers and get a few friends to do the same. If you are interested, you can visit the website here.

So, I got my 5 referrals and received a free iPod Video. It was great until I sat on it and broke it, but that’s another, rather drunken story.

Getting these free gifts did me great. I received iPod after iPod. Games console after games console. I soon decided I could skip the middle man and work with the affiliates myself. This is where I am now…

I have dibbled and dabbled in everything from affiliate marketing to PPC marketing but I am yet to get past the success of the free iPod referral schemes. Follow me on this blog as I attempt to make a few pounds on the internet. It won’t be a lot to start with, but who knows where I’ll end up. You have to start somewhere.

Subscribe to the blog feed and who knows you may learn a thing or two

Stay safe.

:)
